Home is where the most unguarded version of our lives unfolds, protected by walls meant to keep the unfamiliar outside. Yet some gazes still cross those boundaries with us. In this series, I explore how being seen can remain in the body long after the watcher is gone, quietly shaping the way we see ourselves. Through self-portraiture, mirrors, windows, reflections and light, my body shifts between clarity and disappearance. I’ve seen the body become its own observer: adjusting, folding inward, hiding, preparing for an imagined gaze. These photographs trace what remains when no one is there, but the gaze is still here.
